Wow. Will watch tonight, though it sounds like it'll gut me. (thinking it shows suffering animals in factory farm/slaughter houses?) Forced myself to watch such documentaries when I first went (ethical) vegan 12+ years ago. Knew seeing that horror would keep me from reverting back. This sounds rife with such tragedies? Plus more. But you're right, we can't look away. Glad you highlighted this.
Mostly it's the science. There is one segment where the narrator visits a slaughterhouse and befriends a white cow and sees her die the next day. That part gutted me and will you too, so you might want to FF through that. All the rest was not like that at all, though. Just that one segment.
Eeeek. Thanks for the heads up re the white cow. Yep, that would undo me. Saw similar heart-wrenching clips watching such videos years ago. I will FF over that. Poor, precious soul. Excellent re the science. I'll appreciate that. Follow it as much as I can and live climate change daily, here in sw FL where our 4+ year severe drought rages on and monster hurricanes and many months of triple digit heat is now the norm. But, hey, no such thing as climate change. (eye roll)
I feel you. And I feel a bond between us as we live together through these times with our eyes wide open. It's hard to be awake, and yet maintain our equilibrium. I think connection helps a lot. I so appreciate you interacting here!
I do, too, feel that bond, and agree the connection helps. Yes, it *is* hard to see so clearly when so many don't see at all, or so it seems. I will never understand those who are fine with the Twilight Zone we're living through. Twilight Zone, plus a 'mad' fun house in a tawdry, two-bit carnival. That's how it all strikes me. And dangerous, an out of control wrecking ball being swung at everything good: nature, the national parks, the environment as a whole, our precious wildlife and endangered species, all of them hanging on by a thread. The climate, our health care system axed, it all overwhelms. Looking in here, finding your 'voice of reason' takes on it all, keeps me sane. Thanks so much for sharing your wisdom and insight. xx I'm sure many feel the same.

:::sniffle::: Big hugs. Like Joyce Vance always says, "We're in this together."
