Thank you for this post. It is wonderful to hear yet another amazing healing story with whole foods plant-based living! As I went down that rabbit hole myself, I eventually discovered the damages of cooking our whole plant foods, thus altering their natural chemistry....and like you, I wondered, why has nobody told me about this before?? I have benefitted for 20+ years now from a wholly uncooked plant diet, mostly fruits. It's certainly an uncommon path nowadays, but it makes total sense to me.

I bet that's true! I'd love to discuss more. Do you eat exclusively raw? What are the benefits you're seeing?

I don't prefer to use terms like exclusively or 100%, in today's world, but yes, essentially I do. Clear skin, clear thinking, consistent energy, lightness of being, easy to know and feel my natural inner joy (even when outer things don't go well), easy weight maintenance, better endurance, easy digestion, don't get sick....it's pretty amazing. My one downfall sometimes is stress...it's a rough world we live in these days! Even on a great diet, we have to respect the power of negative stress on our health. My therapy is to write about navigating the stresses of living in the modern world ;). I have written 2 books about raw vegan living.
